Modern life and anxiety

We all find ourselves working hard around the perpetual ticking clock. We succumb to the pressures and demands of a busy life that require ‘better’ performance at work, home and even socially.

How we can help

Wouldn’t it be incredible to experience a life that has less anxiety or is even free of it? A life that allows you to be in your body with more calm, ease and joy.

Tips for relieving anxiety now

Get up! Feel your feet on the ground.

Take a moment and press your feet against the ground.

Did you know

That 70-80% of scheduled doctor appointments are caused by anxiety-related symptoms?

Everywhere we seem to hear about anxiety and how it impacts our lives. Dealing with it on our own can be often tricky and challenging. For some people anxiety is caused by isolation, while for others it is social situations that are the trigger.

Anxiety might feel or look like:
  • Feeling depressed and unmotivated.
  • Communication issues in your relationships.
  • Feeling constantly stressed due to demands at work.
  • Feeling physically ill, chronic or recurring pain and discomfort.
  • Feeling constant anger and frustration.
  • Having difficulty with sleep, concentration.
  • Using alcohol and substances excessively.
That caffeine can promote anxiety?

Studies show that caffeine is a psychoactive stimulant that effects the central nervous system. In people who are sensitive to caffeine it can significantly promote anxiety and other related conditions and symptoms including racing heart, panic attacks, insomnia and stress . If you tend to drink caffeine throughout the day and notice that you become anxious afterwards, we recommend that you consider cutting down on your caffeine intake. Try this for a week or two and see if you notice any changes in your symptoms. If you notice changes during that time you might want to consider permanently reducing  your daily caffeine intake.
